My “Writing Your Art” workshops are an energizing and affordable step toward a smarter, more confident Artist’s Statement. The group setting allows for plenty of guidance, discussion, inspiration, interaction, and reassurance that you’re not the only one struggling to create a statement that really works.

The one-day format is intense but (I hope) enjoyable; in addition to the class time and the written materials I provide, each workshop comes with an opportunity to have me read, comment on and help you polish the statement you draft during and after the class for a small added fee.

I’m currently planning my first open-enrollment workshop in the Treasure Coast area. Check back later this summer for date, time, location and other logistical details.

I’ll also be happy to offer a workshop exclusively for your gallery, club, museum or group.  Minimum enrollment is ten artists for locations within the Treasure Coast area, twelve artists for most other locations; you provide the class location as well as any necessary coordination among attendees.

The latter are (of course) subject to change. The good news is that my travel needs are modest; the bad news is that if gasoline prices don’t stop rising, you’ll have to pay me a grand just to start my car.
